The Phoenix Shop

Founded in 1964, The Phoenix Shop is nestled on the lower level of the Nepenthe property. Offering unique treasures from all over that nourish the mind, body, and spirit!

The Phoenix Shop has a beautifully curated selection of both fair trade and locally made products. We are honored to carry the stunning creations made by our founding family.

Highlighting the work of Kaffe Fassett, his one of kind knitwear and textiles boost our boutique with vibrancy and color!

Each corner of the shop tells a story. The stunning oil paintings by Erin Lee Gafill bring our walls to life!

Whether you’re looking for a thoughtful gift or meaningful memento, you’ll find something special here at The Phoenix Shop that celebrates artistry, culture, and community.

Cafe Kevah

Located on the outdoor terrace below Nepenthe, on the roof of the Phoenix Shop, lies the Café Kevah. Named after Kevah Griffis, the mother of our founder Bill Fassett. Kevah Griffis was a proud feminist and astrologer to the stars!

The Café's menu focuses on the freshest ingredients carefully prepared, gourmet coffees, and home made baked goods. The open-air patio and counter service create a casual atmosphere where you can relax, take your time, and watch the whales go by.

The Café Kevah is open daily from 9am-3pm, weather permitting. Make sure to stop by our café soon. After January 5th the Café Kevah will be closed until President’s Weekend for the winter season. Don’t miss your chance to soak in the view with a cozy drink and fresh pastry!
