Joel Magen has been a well known ceramicist on the Central Coast for many years. His stoneware table pieces are as functional as they are beautiful.

“Knowing that people will be living with and using the pottery that I make with my hands is quite an honor for me. I like the work to have a nice balance and feel, with colors that are soft and pleasant to the eye. I’ve been influenced visually with pottery from Japan and the functional ware out of England. Usefulness of objects has always had it’s own beauty to me and I hope that you find the same feeling from my work.”
